Wait for Tomorrow

by The Wingless   Feb 12, 2006

Like a bird,
Taking flight,
From the whispering trees,
I want to fly to wards,
What will be tomorrow,
My body rested,
Will get up that day,
Sorrow was always,
Part of my life.

Today,
I will hold the memories,
Of the tense blue moon,
As I watch you fall asleep.
I'll always nearby,
Just not for you to see,
So just sleep peacefully now.

Wake up in the morning,
Just to watch the horizon,
From the side of the stream,
You saw an ocean to wards your future.

The breath,
I take in the red moonlight,
Seems to hide,
A happy day.
But, my mistake,
Is my fall,
Let us shake hands and walk.

I'll always watch over you,
Somewhere too far,
For you to actually see,
So sleep wrapped in the stars,
You'll never be alone,
I'll be watching,
So just sleep.

Wait for tomorrow.
