I Beleive It's Called Love

You could have been anywhere,
Memories can hurt,
The road goes on forever,
No matter how far I go,
I remember your shine.

That time when two people,
Felt happiness and joy,
No one can write it down,
I believe it's called love.
I want to feel it again

The light of love guided us,
The light went dim,
For eternity, You will be the only one,
Who can really fix that bulb.

You're my companion,
In the darkest nights,
But for the time being,
It's bright outside,
In the cold, night,
You are my only thoughts,
I want to embrace your light again.

    This is sweet and sentimental. I've been reading some really hideous poetry today so thank you for this impressive write. I liked the ending, usually it would sound cliched but I think the sincerity throughout this piece comes through really strongly and the line finishes it off well. Nice work :)
