He's found a new love
and hes had enough

He loved her for a lifetime
but he never found the time

And now he begins to say,

She loved him endlessly
And only him she would see.

Many times she sat and wrote a song.
He cheated,but not once
would she leave him,
she considered it a sin.
But for him it was just another win.
Until one day . . . . .
He promised her he would
never again stray and forever
in her arms he would stay.
So she gave him the key to her heart,
And trusted him with a fresh start.
Until one morning . . . . .
She awoke to a sealed
red envelope,
What could this be?
Her eyes didn't want to see.
She read words of broken promises
she read words of pain,
With nothing in their future to gain
her heart couldn't hold this much strain.
Her world collapsed
in his perfect blue eyes
he was out of reach and out of sight
because he was one the next flight
out of her life.
With a new blond by his side.
So one evening . . . . .
She unsealed his box of promises,
sealed with hugs and kisses.
She lit a match and burnt
it all in a flash!
His promises, hugs and kisses
faded in the air.
And for all the pain he caused
he was finally out her mind,
And miles away from her life.
