Lovers who Lost

by Bradley Peter   Feb 12, 2006

It was a match made in heaven
this was a love straight from a dream
it was meant to last forever
it was a love meant to gleam

yet, somewhere the love was lost
how it was, no one was sure
but the love turned bitter and angry
from that love that was so pure

first, it started with a row
then suspicion began to arise
as they both suspected each other
there were tears in both their eyes

then violence crept into the scene
and both of them got hurt
her with a blow to the head
him with blood through his shirt

he'd hit her with an ash tray
she stabbed him with a knife
and on February fifteenth
each lover lost their life

they started with so much love
both thought it would never end
but something broke the dream
which neither could ever mend

This is a true love story...must people write love as a happy ending and some of the time you must fight for love and some dont. when LOVE is in the picture it is not always that pure amazing feeling--sometimes you feel. Greatly written and once again--Fantastic

This makes me want to cry, but nevermind that. Melancholy bittersweetness combined with love...I don't know of a better combination. Beautiful, Brad!
