Not me

No one knows but me
About the dirt I try to hide
Succeed the deed is only
In my mealy-mouthed eye

My mirror reflects a picture
Of a woman but she's not me
For the woman in the mirror is
Someone I never wanted to be

It is painful looking at her
An image of myself
I know that she is me
But I wish she was somebody else
