Only A Dream.

Winds whipping,
water crashing.
Looking over the edge of the dock,
wondering if you should jump.
Eyes watching the waves crash into the dock,
heart pounding faster and faster.
Finally, stepping off the dock,
but you don't hit the water.
You're floating,
but still falling down and down.
Yet you haven't hit the ground.
Finally, stopping you look around.
Nothing is there.
You feel paralyzed,
each step you try to take makes you fall to the floor.
You wake up,
to find out it was only a dream.
