When I Close My Eyes

by Ryan Fuertes   Feb 13, 2006

When I CLose My Eyes

When I close my eyes I see you
I see the river flowing down across the sea
So as my tears flowing on my cheeks incessantly
I see my dreams emerging from basically nowhere
This heart feels the pain, it seems everywhere

When I close my eyes I smell you
I smell those scent of loving from the cold air
Yet not a hint of you that leaves for me to share
I smell your perfume that keeps me living sane
Though not a trace could be found but stain

When I close me eyes I hear you
I hear you sing those sweet lullabies across
But those melodies are hymn like a loss
I hear those words uttered from those lips
Seems like a deaf, silence of your heart rips

When I close my eyes I tasted sweet
Sweet moments like a mouth-watering dish
Hoping for you to hear this, is all my wish
I savor that instance when you're close to me
It's like I'm in heaven for a moment and I'm free

When I close my eyes I feel you
That beautiful soul you have, can't resist
For you, no one, not a thing would persist
Felt your high spirit floating in the breeze
It seems for me I'm in heaven full of bliss

When I close my eyes,I think of you
And that not a day or second I never did
I wake up and before I sleep I dire need
Your love, scent, and the flavor to breathe
Your song, sight, the soul, now day's complete
