They say a picture is worth a thousand words,
But when I see yours,
No words come to my head,
Only tears flow to my eyes.
I am shocked, dazed, and confused.
I can't believe you are gone already.
It seems like yesterday we were together,
But yesterday was the accident.
They say it happened fast,
To fast to feel anything.
My hand reaches up,
To caress the key on my necklace,
The key you said was the key to your heart.
I stare at your picture,
Choking back my tears.
I have reached for the phone hundreds of times,
