Saying Good-bye

by Danielle   Feb 13, 2006

She looks into the air,
Knowing it is time to say good-bye.
The dam of tears,
Are flowing down her cheeks in a river.
Standing as still as a statue,
She freezes as if cement blocks are on her feet,
Not wanting to leave.
The snowflakes have started to fall,
Looking like little down feathers
Falling to the ground in a puff.
The cold feeling she is feeling,
Is the icy creek all around.
The sky releases one last major puff of snow,
As if someone above is crying,
The tears of pain she is feeling.
