We just need each other

Hey God.
my savior that I've denied over and over again.
i just want to thank you for giving me your patience.
when i should be lost....
Lord, i guess i haven't seen enough to know why it's worth so much to follow you.
cause when i enter your body, the church.
and when i sit there, alone in the sanctuary.
i listen for some sign that you know what i feel right now.
and sometimes it comes.
and sometimes i don't hear.
i look for signs in people, that tell me they need you as much as i do.
but what we really need is each other in you.
we need to be united in you.
cause when we stand alone,
we fall so far.
we may go along for the longest time,
struggling,
but we don't need to be.
cause we have each other in you.

all we need to do is reach out to one another.
in the darkest times,
when we see someone with the same need.
all we need to do is grab their hand and pull them toward you Lord.
and let your glory shine, shine a light through us as we walk along.
so we can be a witness.
so we can be a friend.
i know i need a witness,
