So Much More

Everyone thought she was perfect
nobody knew what she held within
she hid behind a mask
secrets of her past, secrets of her life
nobody knew she was abused at just age five
she covered up the bruise
she covered up the wound
her parents didn't care what she did
they didn't even care if she lived
childrens services finally stepped in
and took her from the life she held within
her grandma took her from her crazy life
now she finally had a home to call her own
people finally respected her for who she was
instead of rejecting her for where she came from
she used to never have friend
but that soon came to an end
she is now fourteen
and she has learned from her life and so much more

the little gurl in the poem was me but now i live wit my gma plz comment
