Unknown Land

by Josh Barrett   Feb 13, 2006

I hold tight,
to your smooth hand,
only to feel it releasing,
to an unknown land.

Please,
at least stand by me in the mirror,
because my memories of you,
are never going to become clearer.

I only have a small book,
to remember you by,
and looking back at what happned,
I wonder why?

Why this had to happen,
I want to be back with you,
it tore us apart,
I dont know what to do.

I have some pictures,
but that isnt what I need,
I need you,
please, I'm starting to bleed.

Because I want to find you,
if I die,
it might be possible,
to finally stop the cry.

Where are you?
You have let go of my hand,
all the memories gone,
to that unknown land.
