If only

If only i could tell you
everything you mean to me
paper would cover the whole wide world
and ink would fill the seas
if only i could see
each and every day
i would silently thank the Lord
and think of stuff to say
if only i could talk to you
without acting fool
i would invite you to my house
and to hangout in the pool
if only you would answer the phone
i would talk to you for hours
it would seem like i had magic
or even super powers
if only i could let you read
the stuff i write about
i would never feel the fear
or the sadness and doubt
