You don't seem to see
that all i do is hurt
no matter what it is
i always get hurt

that all i do is run
I've been running from my fears
and running from my hurts

you don't seem to see
that all i want is to
live the life my mom
always wanted for me

just to please my mom
is something i want to do!
to see her smile
and say
"finally one of my children did right"
is what I've always craved!
