I know remembrance day is far away but i have i poem i wrote
Remembrance Day Poem
Whats Remembrance Day?
On Remembrance Day people dont laugh or play.
Its a day of thought and love.
Everyone stands side by side to think.
Crosses and graves look alike.
They all rest in peace.
They fought for our souls.
The suffering and the pain they had to go through.
Some of the ones that were there visit the ones who died.
All the soldiers use to march day by day.
The sounds of guns shots scared them.
But they still fought so we could live to this day.
I believe they were heroes and strongly brave.
Thats why there is Remembrance Day.
So to all you young ones, dont think this is a joke.
It isnt
Remembrance Day is one of the most important days
This is a true thing so bow your heads and think.
Think of the war, the navy, and their lives.
That they spared for ours.
Their souls were important just like ours.
But they put ours in front of theirs.
So lest we forget them all.
