Did you know I cry myself to sleep at night
wishing you were there?
pouring out my heart in tears
because you no longer care?
can you tell when i see you
that my smile is a facade?
because I know I've lost you
but the pain won't seem to fade.
All these questions run through my mind
that i know I will never ask
because then you'll know for sure
that I am really just a mask.
do you know that i waited on you
the whole time you were gone?
but when you finally came back
it was time for us to move on.
do you know I'm still waiting
because my heart will not let go?
but of course it is these things,
