Did i hear those fatal words
that scare me half to death
those words i never say
that make me short of breath

i hate to hear them said
and I'd never dare to say
the feelings that aren't real
the feelings that don't stay

they're only three little words
yet those words cause only pain
those words form a sentence
that causes my head and heart strain

you know the words i mean
the words of which i speak
from those eight little letters
there's a haven that i seek
