As velvet smooth night fades and gives way to day
I am caught up in the last sunrise
Letting the first drops of pure golden warmth seep into my cold body
And bring warmth and feeling back into my numb heart and thoughts
Watching the mountains and over the hills and tall peaks the sun rises
Cascading me in light, warmth and salvation
Gone are the dark heavy nights
Golden warm honey sun falls upon my blonde hair, down my waiting face, touching my bare shoulders, warming my legs and finally
Browning my bare feet
With love and happiness
Washing away all my fake smiles and long forgotten secrets and lies
Letting the waves of my oceanic brew
Of my thoughts
Sweep past my whole heart
And scream for joy
Scream and laugh for all the good and greatness in this world
As night fades into day
I am left refreshed and anew for a new day has come
And I am going to live it to the fullest that I can
Because as soon as the sun begins to set
I shall bury myself alive once more in all my dreams and memories
Hopes and dreams
And wish and dream for tomorrow’s sunrise
To come and let oceanic thoughts
Become tangible upon wet sand that lines my heart
Ever so gently beating with exuberance and life once more
