Ode to a Safety Pin

by Poetess Lana   Feb 14, 2006

Should I do it?
Take the sharp
point of the
weapon and
push till it bleeds?
It gives me physical
pain, but it kills
the emotional.
Thats what its for,
right? You won't
care. It's not like
my crimson despair
is too much for me
to take. Too much
for you to take.
It may be
my own battle,
but I need your help
winning it.
No more of my
crimson despair.

I really like your poem! Also, I have one that has the exact same name! It's completely different though. I just thought that was kinda funny. Anyway, good poem! :)
