For You

I once knew a boy,
he stood all alone.
He had next to no friends
he was out of the zone

This boy had no life
his computer and himself
he lived on the net
reality on the shelf

I once knew a girl
so confident so loud
Her life was well and happy
or herself she was proud

She had friends, family and fun
knew what she wanted to do.
She lived life with impulse
into the bin, her plans, she threw

They once found each other
that day there heads spun.
They became attached to each other
a night of smiles 'n' fun.

Over time they grew close,
trusted one another.
Spent good time with each other
and even laughed with her mother.

After time they lost spirit,
the trust and the hope.
They moved towards others,
the easy way to cope.

Four months apart,
was the time they did spend,
time spent with others,
broken hearts trying to mend.

More time passed
then two hearts became one
Two teenager's in love
for more years to come.

Much time will be spent
and much pouting and smiles
as the tale of love
travels for miles and miles

I wrote this for my darling Shannon for Valentines day.. and since i haven't posted a poem in ages i thought i would put it on.. so hope you enjoyed it.. she said she did
