No Name

by Ashley   Feb 15, 2006

Sad and cold,
Alone and old.
She sits in tears,
She shakes in fear.

She sees his body,
Bloody and muddy.
For he died in vain,
With only pity to gain.

He tied a rope,
Around his throat.
She found him hanging,
No longer breathing.

Marks on his wrist,
Tell a story with a twist.
Loved but hated,
This is what he was fated.

When a young boy,
He had no toys.
Home he was not wanted,
At school he was taunted.

Destroyed and beat,
No shoes for his feet.
No mom to save him,
Only a dad named David.

What life he had,
Made him a demented man.
No friends to help,
Neighbors only listened to him yelp.

One day there was a ray,
Of hope, you might say.
When he met her,
She was wearing fur.

Him with no money,
And love from nobody.
Thought he had no chance,
Until she smiled and gave him a glance.

She had no fear,
She wanted to make him hear.
She could see in his eyes,
That his mask was a disguise.

She walked up to him, and asked his name,
He said, I have no name.
She thought it was cute,
So she played his game.

They fell in deep,
He thought her promises shed keep.
He asked for her hand,
And she took it glad.

And with that hand,
She took his heart.
Though she did not plan,
On ripping it apart.

Once they were married,
Many kids she carried.
He trusted her,
Though this was scary.

That he shouldve never done,
For soon she divorced him.
And took all she had won,
Everything for him looked dim.

He couldnt see the kids,
She told them lies,
So it was he they despised.

She soon was remarried,
And this heartache,
He could no longer carry.

He took a rope,
And found a tree.
It was in her front yard, you see.

He made sure the kids werent there,
For he didnt want them to see,
How much pain he was in,
All because of Mommy.

He wrote a letter,
He said, God would get her.
All he wanted was truth,
But in reality, he was used.

Used and abused,
Depressed and stressed.
No money, no food,
No heat, nothing to eat.

No life he had lived,
No, not at all.
Abused as a child,
Wrists that tell that twist.

Guarded heart,
Shield was down.
Impressed by her beauty,
Destroyed by her cold blood.

Died for her,
Died for love.
No grave,
For he remained,
A no good,
No name.
