The end

The end is near
The ground falls away,
The deep abyss below,
Calls to all above,
Beckons for us to fall,
To leave this unstable plain,

The end is coming
Approaching and gaining speed,
Hiding within a black shadow,
Watching with glinting eyes,
Waiting for signs of weakness,
Waiting for the moment to strike,

Death will come
We will all fall,
But some may go first,
The strong among you will live on,
But you're a group to which many don't belong,
The shadow is almost here,

Darkness closing in
Life is drained from the earth,
Darkness becomes all encompassing,
The weak shall soon fall,
And the rest will follow,
We will all leave soon,

The end has come
