You tell me you love me
you tell me you care
and yet you cant see
that without him my heart would tear.

You tell me you trust me
you tell me your proud
and yet the way that your acting
tells me you you really feel, pretty damn loud!

You just want me happy
at least thats what you say
but I just don't understand
why you don't want him to stay.

I'm gonna say this the only way I know how
he doesn't plan on going anywhere
and to tell me you want him gone
just isn't fair.

I know you think its just puppy love
but theres no such thing
Its called young love
or you could call it a fling.

What I have with him
isn't just a fling
because even if you cant see it
he's my everything.
