A broken heart again?

I wonder why and I worry about you my friend,
Do you really want a broken heart again?

Do you really love the guy you constantly look for?
And do you want him back so he can again make your heart sore?
Everyday you search for this guy, and I can see it in your eyes,
That you want him back, but the reason, I just don't realize,
Was he the sweetest guy that you will ever meet?
And was he the guy that when you saw him, your heart skipped a beat?

Was he the guy who made you feel like one of a kind,
And did he let you know that you were always on his mind?
Was he the guy that didn't lie when he told you, "I love you"
And was he the guy that you could say back, "I love you too"?

Was he the kind of guy that would always treat you right,
And made you feel warm when it was cold and there was no sunlight?
Was he the kind of guy that made you smile when you would frown,
And made you happy when life was making you feel down?

So again I ask: do you really love the guy you constantly look for?
And do you want him back so he can again make your heart sore?
Him breaking your heart, he must have been out of his mind,
Couldn't he see that you are perfect, beautiful and one of a kind?
If I was with you, your heart would never be broken by me,
I would treat you like a queen, always making you happy,
And I would stay true to you, for the rest of eternity.
