The path

The path that I have taken
Has left me joyful and proud
Instead of pain filled and shaken
And lost among the crowd

Now I'm not depressed
No more relieving pain with blades
My life is no longer compressed
From the choice I once made

Feeling happy once again
From the path that I have taken
My life is free from sin
And I am no longer bruised or shaken.
