5'6 and 5'8

by Christina   Feb 15, 2006

He's only 5'6, and I'm 5'8
But in his eyes it makes no difference
He can command the seas
He can make the thunder roar
He can make the land quake

He's only 5'6, and I'm 5'8
His kiss makes the stars twinkle
It can bring the heart back to life from death
He can make the sun rise in me,
When the moon is out in the sky
His lips can warm you from your noise to toes

He's only 5'6, and I'm 5'8
His words brings tears in the desert
They can bring a smile at a funeral
They can bring hatred and anger
Then they protect you and remind you,
Why you love him

He's only 5'6, and I'm 5'8
Just like he can love like a god
He can hurt like the devil
If he could show me how to love
Why won't he show me how to forget that what I feel

He's only 5'6, and I'm 5'8
But what difference does three inches make
When the one smaller makes you fall to your knees
Then he towers in height and power

He's only 5'6
But he's the one who moved on
I'm 5'8
And I'm the one who cry's alone
