Sonnet 1

by Ian Costello   Feb 16, 2006

When light does show upon her face, what grace,
A fragile dancer across her feature,
That none can compare no matter the case,
God has made the most beautiful creature,
Little known perfection one can dream about,
I wish I knew better love unparalleled,
Unmatched in everyway no doubt,
I love it so, this feeling can't be quelled,
To shimmer like the dancer does of light,
For no malady no mark or scarring,
What light can't justify is ever night,
What man can't is defaced by marring,
My heart beats, yearning for your perfection,
What I couldn't do put up protection.
