John Part 2

by Thea Sutherland   Feb 16, 2006

In a deep, dark hole,
In a cold cold world,
In a hollow shell with thick and haunting walls,
I sit all alone,
Feeling used and confused,
In a deep dark hole that I call home.
I ponder life's new meaning,
The feelings indescribable,
The emotions that I cannot hold inside,
A chink of light renewed,
A single soul, confused,
A shadow lifted, and a door thrown wide.
A crazy little notion,
A tingling sense of fear,
A magic that cannot be tossed aside.
A feeling so unique,
So natural and calm,
Like the coming, and the going of the tide.
This Love inside.
