Dad you left when i was 4
was it me
or was it mom?
please tell me what i did wrong
i need to know.
you never watched me grow up
never saw me perform
never saw me graduate
why daddy?
why did you leave me
to grow up in this world
without you.
i had to listen to all the other kids
talk about their dads
and i was shunned away
cuz i did not have a dad.
i hate you for that
but yet i guess i have to love you

mom never even told me about you
no one there to protect

about you cuz you hurt her

when my boyfriends ask if they can meet my dad
i have to tell them that he is in jail
