The war between us

by Flying Phoenix   Feb 16, 2006

The endless torment
Still lingers on
My strength does dwindle
Whilst he continues strong
This fight I've fought
Since his birth
Years of torture
Pain inflicted upon this earth

Gaze around this horrid sight
All is anger, malice, spite

Others live in peaceful equality
Though we live without
That vital compatibility
Some reason there
Unknown to I
Causes this tension
That nothing can pass by
The same blood we share
But this matters not
As anguish I suffer
Our similarities are forgot
Those times we had
When we played together
Days outside
Or in, with wet weather
They happen no longer
As we have aged
Grown has the gap
And a war has raged

Yet if he was lost
Or I fought too far
By breaking his body
If he were injured to scar
Then I would feel it
A love of no other
Deny it I could not
For he is still my brother
