As gentle as a spring breaze

by rose that growsfrom concrete   Feb 16, 2006

Spring has come again
I see so many children comeing
out to play, leting out
there laughter from within
but i find it inpossible
to laugh as easy as them
When the one i love
left me in this way
She left me just as gentle
and as mild as
this lovely spring day
While flowerers blossom and grow
I fall apart like leaves at fall
because i simply do not know
How to carry on I
when the one I love left me
just as gentle as a spring breaze
Shes out of my life and
now my heart is torn
Because on a day so beautiful
I stand all alone
Oh she left me on my own
thought were never end so simple
but it seems i was wrong
because she left oh so gentle
as this lovely spring breaze

This poem sounds sincere and painful. If there was one thing I wish I could do before I die it would be to end heartbreak for well-meening guys. The girl I loved had just resently left me, and I sure know what pain deep inside is all about. I think only time will help, but I'm still not sure about that myself.
