Car ride Home

School had just ended
I couldn't wait to get home
I wasn't feeling good
I just wanted to be all alone

My mom takes my friend home
so I was waiting for her
I seen her and my brother come
so we went all together

As soon as we all jumped in
right away my mom left
I leaned against the window
and for a while I slept

I heard the tiny rain drops
falling on the car
I wish we would get home
but we're still kind of far

My mom and brother are arguing
they each want to hear thier song
My friend is just laughing
This ride seems so long

My brother keeps arguing
he moves the steering wheel
My mom tells him to stop
but then a fast spin I feel

I slowly open my eyes
I see the world so blury
How come I'm hearing a guy
saying, " Come here, hurry hurry!"

And why am I sitting here
in a car that's upside down
OH MY GOD I JUST REALIZED
THE CAR HIT THE GROUND!

My mom and brother
asks me if I'm okay
I tell them I am
and have nothing else to say

I feel the car move
and there stands a guy
trying to help us get out
It's there when I begin to cry

The people there tells us
the ambulence is on their way
I could barely stand up
It seems like a long day

My brother holds me tight
And tells me he is sorry
I'm crying and hurting
But I tell him don't worry

He's holding me like a baby
but I don't want him to feel bad
I know he didn't mean to do this
he looks at me with eyes so sad

The ambulence arrives
and they take me away
I'm sorry, I'm sorry
I still hear my brother say

All I wanted was to get home
and lay on my bed
But I'm here in an ambulence
With great pain in my head

I just wanted to take a nap
because I wasn't feeling good
But now I know that things
Don't always go as they should...
