From the first time I saw you
I knew you were the one for me
Although thoughts arose in my mind, would I be good enough
Against wrong, choose right and be standing up
From the first night
Took me an hour just to get my line right
That night I don't think one wink I slept
As I thought of you, to the sweet places I crept
The first time I held you, felt my heart melt
Cause I knew I loved you more than life itself
Then to my knees, and I begged the lord please
Let me be all she needs
Love, knowledge, and trust too
I pledge my life to you

Taking on the world taking on the world
I'm always here for you
Look over your shoulder I'll be there
Whatever you need just call on me

Whatever you need I'll be there for you any time.
