Jigsaw Heart

by Weeping Wolf   Feb 17, 2006

Let this puzzle intrigue you
a maze full of curious enigmas
shuffle the cards of this grief
when you pride has fallen to pieces

connect the dots of your past pain
color out of the lines with blood
even after you paste together your life
you still find...theres a missing piece

Every child's game is a crime
from seesaws to slitting wrists
put back together the shards
of my treacherous jigsaw heart.

The beginning is quite intrigueing, reading on I found this piece incredibly sad, it kinda seemed like the loss of childlike innocence at some points. The atmoshpere and tone of this is impressive, very nice work :)

Woah....this is deep, although it doesn't really seem lyke it until the end. But then if you reread it, you get a whole new meaning from this poem. Great job and take care XXXXX
