The fate of a young girl

by eric   Feb 17, 2006

This girl was only fifteen
Not even old enough to drive
but she stole her moms keys
and never felt more alive

she drove to her friends house
and four people got in the car
they didnt care where they were going
they just wanted to go fast and far

the only thing she was thinking about
was having a good time
not a care in the world
or a worry on her mind

they pulled over at a party
got out and grabbed some beers
drank till they couldnt
remember what they feared

the party was ending
and everyone was going home
then she got a call on her cellphone
the girl got into the car all alone

it was her mom and she was pissed
she told her to come home
right now for she was missed
the girl just clenched her fist

the girl told her she hated her
and didnt want to see her again
what happened next was all a blurr
and brings this sad story to an end

with tears in her eyes
she drove off the road
over a cliff she now lied
broken from head to toe

maybe if she wasnt so blind
she could have seen
that her mother wasnt so bad
she was hardly mean

this girl chose to drink and drive
for one night of reckless fun
in a coffin she now lies
her life is done
