To touch the heart of someone dear,
Although it may cause a tear
Or a little kiss on the cheek
should be something we all seek.

Hearts that are not touched at all
start shrinking ever so small,
And the time it takes to grow
a loving heart is very slow.

Our hearts expand to those who care
Expanding their love for us to share.
A moment or special phrase
Eases pain on dreamy days.

That causes our lips to smile
and brightens time for just a while.
And even if love is miles apart,
