Attempted Suicide

by Suicidal_Bleeder   Feb 17, 2006

You always ask, why did I try it?
Why did I take that knife?
To slice myself to pieces?
Do you think that it was nice?
You don't know all the torture,
The heartache and the pain,
That made me swallow all those pills,
Now things won't be the same.
You can't imagine how I felt,
You'd have to have been there too,
So please don't ask the questions,
That I know you're going to.
The question is, could you have helped?
Could you have saved this life?
The life that I am struggling with,
In our world of pain and strife?
The truth is that you didn't care,
Enough to help one soul,
Until I tried to take my life,
It seemed glory was your goal.
So now you find that glory,
Can't help this girl, your friend,
It seems that all you purposes,
Are at a big dead end.
Until I tried to take away,
My body and my care,
You didn't know of all my pain,
The pain you might have shared...

Your poems are so amazing...every one I read leaves me writhing to find the words that will express my amazement and appreciation of your skill. Alas, there are none (haha that sounded funny).

    Don't ever (EVER) stop writing.
