Love is but a metaphor
designed to put a flaw in human perfection
created so that it might break you
and make you hurt
and then it creates a ripple effect
destroying and breaking
every heart it comes into contact with
and then you meet that one.
the one who makes your heart jump
the one who makes you smile when you just can't smile.
the one who makes the sun come out when
all you can see is rain
and then the type of pain that you once had
is gone
and the pain that you get is
suddenly a new type of pain
but then you realize that love is not just a metaphor!
