Nightmares

What is it you're trying to say
I can't hear you,
It's so hard,
I don't understand.
seeing you
within my dreams.
My body shakes,
My knees weaken,
and suddenly I can't breath.
my chest thuds
to the quickened,
beating of my heart.
and yet I live,
not knowing...
I do not die,
but rather still,
wishing I was dead.
I find myself awakened,
shivering, and cold.
with but a single tear,
falling from my cheek.
knowing your out there,
Haunting me.
Killing me!
