On this day

Someone please hand me a drink,
so that i can be happy today,
and not have to think.
I have been dreading
this day for a while,
and now its here in front of me,
in one big pile.
Today is the day,
I expected to be happy
and now that its here,
I feel extremely crappy.
I wanna be smiling,
and i want to be excited,
but that can't happen,
those things are uninvited.
I want to look you in the eye,
give you a kiss and say,
"Happy Anniversary hunny,
I've been waiting for this day"
Then you would look at me,
and you would say, "
Happy Anniversary to you too,
with out you, I don't know what i would do".
