Fear

I had a dream,
I was going become a somebody!
Going to get out of this place.
Fly somewhere far away.
My dreams have been destroyed,
My hopes have been burned,
My love for you has been broken.
I hate the way you hurt me.
The way you killed me internally.
If I had a wish,
I would go back in time.
Go back to the day you hurt me,
I would make sure you never did,
And never had the chance to hurt anyone else.
I would wish you dead,
And make sure you could feel.
Then maybe you would be able to feel how much you hurt me.
I don't understand how you could do this.
I have no dreams,
No hope to carry on.
Just constant fear of you,
Fear you'll hurt me again.
