Walk Alone

by Cassie   Feb 18, 2006

My scars don't show, my wounds don't heal,
My mind is fuzzy, my body numb,
I can't think and I can't feel,
As I walk alone, into a cars bright lights.

My scars are red, my scars are blue,
My mind is whirling, my body hurts,
I think too clearly, my feelings raw,
As I die alone in the hospitals lights.

I'm sorry mommy, I couldn't stay,
I'm sorry daddy, it had to end this way,
I'm sorry (friends), it'll be okay,
I'm sorry, hope to see you again someday.
