Eternal Lovers

by Autumn   Feb 18, 2006

The sky was bleeding red
They were so close to being dead
All their strength had perished
And he was all that she cherished
They tried so hard to escape from their impending fate
But it was sealed when their bodies hit the slate

Dying wasn't the hardest thing
It is just part of the Ethereal ring
Losing him that day
Hurt her more than any words could ever say

Split apart by his sins
Those damn Angels mocking them with their grins
Heaven meant nothing to her without him
Not being near him made her life oh so grim

He couldn't just stay there like a mourning dove
He had to try to get back to his love
Hell was no match for his strengths
Its only hope was a deal that had him go to great lengths
He would have done anything to have her in his arms
To keep her safe from all that harms

The evil called him over and said sit
Souls were what he had to get
The order was for only seven
Then he could return to her in Heaven
His quest started right away
Ti started in a small city by the bay
His future with out his love seemed so meek
But the seven he did seek
Taking each victim swift
So he could receive his desired gift
He finally won
But by that time his beauty was out of the grace of the One

Before he came to Heaven his love was depressed
Without him her soul could never rest
Eternally damned in Heaven
Because she did not know he was seeking the seven
She was left all alone
Angering her straight to the bone
There was an eternal longing left by that blood red night
And revenge was set in her sight

A volcano of anger formed inside and soon it had an eruption
Oh the chaos and destruction
After days she was finally contained
And charged with being insane
She had fallen from grace
With a smile on her face

Once again they were separate
He thought maybe it was just their fate
No he couldn't think that way
They would be reunited on day

He had to take matters into his own hands
He would steal the time made of sands
Stealing them wasn't difficult
But no one believed it was his fault
The One took mercy because he knew
With out her his misery grew
And so he was cast down
Leaving without a frown

Together they sat by a fiery lake
Enjoying the reward of all the test they had to take
Most are in Hell for their sins
They were for the love that they are in
Always will they be with one another
As the other's Eternal Lover

This is very well writen and nice descriptive writing too. I like the ending, sad, but with a splash of hope.
