Scar

by Sean Brady   Feb 18, 2006

A soft kiss upon my neck
Tingles every nerve I've ever felt
Initiating one big wreck
Hearts beating itself into one big welt

The taste of your lips upon mine
And the sound of your voice in my ear
Range from pleasant to horrible
One day draws smiles and the next draws tears

Beating myself up over nothing
Literally nothing at all
At least that's how it seems
With the lack of communication through the wall

I finally ended it all
And now I'm depressed
I can't focus on anything anymore
Constantly thinking of her and nothing less

The blade to my skin
My heart beating to fast, to far
It takes my mind off the pressure
And leaves yet another scar

But not just any scar
Not one that's just on me
It's an addition
To a collection of scars that no one will see
