We met on such short notice
I had a boyfriend at the time
But as i watched you closely
He was gone from my mind
Your eyes held such beauty
Your laugh held such joy
How was i to resist you
When i knew you were mine
Your hearts been broken so many times
But I'm here to make it whole
Your my prince charming
My angel and my best friend
Your the cloud that shades me from the sun, your my light when i cant see
You make me smile when I'm sad
Oh baby how can this be
Your my safety before i fall
Your my warmth from th cold
You are my everything
Please don't let go!

    Your poem is really good...you can tell it came from the heart...

    The only advice that I have ....."Your the ___ that shades me from the sun, your my light when i cant see"..? whats supposed to go in the blank?

    I think you should edit it and fill in the missing word cause it'll help people feel the poem better.

    Other than that, I loved it! 5/5
