How I write poetry

Pen in hand,
thoughts in demand,
emotions take place in what i write
such as "the solitary moon shines for only you and I tonight"
poetry just comes to my head,
that needs to be on paper,instead of being said.
who knew a pen and paper can relive emotions so strong
for me,poetry is like lyrics to a song
i mostly write poetry for Joseph,whom gets me stuck in a daze,
and Kevin,thus he's lies intend in a gaze
but this one is about me,
"how i write poetry"....
