Heads Held High

by Bill Turner   Feb 18, 2006

Screaming eagle looking tough and dangerous
Held in restraint by the fishnet on your thigh
All eyes in this place are upon us
Stalking through heads held high

Striking fear in their middle class hearts
Bloody daggers hang by our side
We have their attention with the severed body parts
Be careful the blood made the floor a slip n slide

Waving around the waiters head
Blood dripping on the customers shoes
Reminding them they could be amongst the dead
So they better watch what they choose

Holding out your bag, demanding wallets and cash
I gather the customers hiding in the rear
Using a pepper grinder to give a slower ones head a bash
The others hurry along out of fear

Tossing the heads to the lone cook
We saunter towards the door
Reminding the fearful to never look
Or we will come back for their heart at the core

Getting into the car I see our child
Asleep in the back seat, bothered not by our life
We live rather violent and wild
Seeking to end our child's strife

Treatment requires money
His cancer has come back
You are in trouble if you see my honey
We are here for the cash Jack!

I thought it was good. A bit scary, a few guys killing people grotesquley just to make sure the child had a secure future. Nice touch.

This has a really strange feel to it, but i like it. I really like the twist at the end, despite the crime, the justification is there, even if there could be other means. Very graphic :) x
