A Girls Deception

The lies in her eyes as the sad girl cries,
She put her trust into someone she knew,
But really she had no idea who.

She sniffed and she blew,
Her head on her shoulder,
She thought she needed to hold her.

The knife in her hand felt cold on her palm,
Her heart raced,
No longer staying calm.
Her hand began to shake,
She knew that her fears were fake.

She closed her eyes,
Put the knife near this girls back,
But then she stopped,
And sucked in the courage she lacked.

The girl had been crying,
But now she just breathed,
She never knew that her friend had been lying.

Before she could bear to kill her own friend,
She listened to what she said,
â??I love youâ??
She whispered
â??You are my best friend.â??
The girl with the knife started to cry,
She knew she could no longer say goodbye.

The knife dropped to the floor,
And hit the wood,
She would have turned back time if she could.

As the knife made a racket to her ears,
She tasted the salt of her own tears,
The girl spun around with surprise in her eyes,
She picked up the knife,
And looked at her friend,
And then she put the knife near her heart,
And took her own life.

The girl who had stopped sat in shock,
She thought that this was all just a mock,
She leaned towards her friend,
Whom she was just about to kill,
And heard nothing except her own breath.

The friend she had loved,
The girl she had played,
She felt as if she had been betrayed.

Murder was bad but suicide was worse,
She knew that this was some sort of curse,
The job she had been given had finally been done,
This was everything except fun.

She now had to live with the crime she had done,
She had seen her friend kill herself,
Take the job she was to do,
She had killed the girl she had most looked up too.

She no longer could stand the girl she became,
She remembered the times,
And bowed her head in shame.

All over her body was the feeling of dread,
This girl had been dumped,
She had been popular,
And now she was deadâ?¦
