The Kiss

by LoneWalker   Feb 19, 2006

Reminisce, that past is done
so enraptured,
but the pains to come

At a glance
the softest of skin
heaven's light
shining so paper thin

see how i loved
An angel, so tender and sweet
When she falls, I'll die for her
When she cries, so to shall I weep
My love eternal for her

In her eyes
I saw such beauty
she was an enchantress
to her I gave all fidelity
We were two of love

But she broke away
Flew from my heart
my angel of awe
Our end before the start

To my soul, seept my melancholy
wistfully I hoped
I could still embrace her
My thoughts so far gone
Can't you see I'd die for her?
Without my mercy

All my prayers failed
my soul was not to be saved
In my eyes showed my sorrow
I never wiped these tears away

My spirit was oppressed, with me to blame
Never will you understand the shame
I failed to be there
to show how much i really cared

My love taken, But with me still
A leaden heart, the reward I show
I'd give up everything
Of that she'll never know

Memories still haunt me
For in my life thats been taken away
I feel her touch,
her breath, and her kiss...
