how can you say you care
when you act like you don't
you see me without a tear
and i hide the pain
although it makes no sense
why I'm upset
if i broke it off
i am because i love you
but its time to leave
we never work out
maybe we just
try to hard to work
maybe we really
just shouldn't be together
whatever the reason
we both end up hurt
so why go through this
when our friendship is
at risk
i don't want to lose you as both
so I'm calling it quits
and maybe
ill try to move on
